Human-centered design

I joined IBM during the company's global design transformation under Phil Gilbert, as the organization shifted from engineering-led development to human-centered design. Within the Mobile Innovation Lab, I partnered with product managers, researchers, and engineers to design connected stadium experiences for sports and entertainment venues across the country.

As Design Lead, I helped shape an ecosystem of mobile apps, digital signage, and operational dashboards that transformed real-time data into intuitive experiences for fans and venue operators alike

North Star

The IBM Stadium Experience demonstrated how connected products could improve every stage of the fan journey. Rather than building a single application, we designed an ecosystem of experiences that helped visitors navigate venues, engage with live events, and gave operators the insights needed to improve the overall experience.

Mobile Experience

The mobile application became each fan's personal companion throughout the event. Ticketing, wayfinding, food ordering, promotions, and personalized content worked together in a single experience designed to reduce friction and keep fans engaged before, during, and after the game.

Stadium Screens

Digital signage extended the mobile experience into the venue itself. Real-time content adapted to the moment, delivering personalized messaging, crowd management, sponsorships, and game information that improved navigation while creating new opportunities for fan engagement.

Operations Dashboard

Behind every fan experience was a network of operational tools. Interactive dashboards gave venue staff visibility into crowd movement, concessions, and stadium activity, allowing teams to respond quickly and make better decisions in real time.
